Art Of Fur Academy - Has Closed It's Doors

On January 16th 2017

To Whom This May Concern;

It is my sad duty to report that on January 16th 2017 Art Of Fur had to close its doors after a year and a half of serving the North Park Community and teaching over 30 students on how to be better groomers and bathers.

While this was not an easy decision for us to make we had to do it. I would like to thank you for your patronage and for allowing us to be part of your Furbabies lives!

On a happier note we were able to help our landlord find a tenant to move into our old space and he will be opening a grooming salon and dog grooming school. Their company name is SD Grooming Co. owned by Myke Ross who owns Two other Grooming and Pet Supply Stores in North County as well as Mobile Grooming Service Company.

SD Grooming Co. & San Diego Grooming Academy will open on January 31st and can be reached at 619-452-2366 to book appointments or schedule tours. As a special favor to our clients they will be honoring a 2 week credit for the time that Art Of Fur was closed for the VIP Bathing Program.

I will be working with the new company to help provide a smooth transition of students and clients for the next few weeks. Kathleen has returned to her other grooming salon Christine’s Pet Grooming and can be reached at 619-299-6410.

Current Students of Art Of Fur have been refunded the money for their programs to date and have the option of transitioning credits to the new school called San Diego Grooming Academy.

Former Students and Prospective Employers of graduated students can contact myself Brent Smithson (via email here) for proof of course completion up until June 30th 2017 after that all content and website will be archived.

Once again we would like to apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused you and truly wish you the best.

Sincerely,

Brent Smithson
